So what's hot in urban fashion this spring? Caps and layers. Girls in caps started as a trend on social media among the Instagram baddies. It's only inevitable that it's now a spring trend. We can't scroll through Instagram without seeing a pretty face in a sports cap or "dad hat". But it doesn't stop at caps, it's now trendy to pair uber sporty and masculine clothes with feminine pieces; making an outfit both casual and sexy. There's now an excuse to steal pieces from your boyfriend's closet. No boyfriend? no worries. Zara just dropped a gender fluid line and we are surely to see other brands hop on this trend later this spring. Another trend that's always in style is layering. However, thanks to Yeezy, this spring is all about playing with symmetry. It's all about pairing long layers and playing with shapes. I am a big fan of long layering. It gives me the opportunity to recycle old pieces and even jazz up basic pieces.
