Keeping It Cool/ DIY LACE UP HEELS

 

 Last post I told you how down and under the weather I was feeling- well, today is new day. Thanks to Tylenol I back to feeling like myself again. I wanted to create a look that was sexy, simple and chic. Since lace up sandals and heels are a major trend this spring,  I wanted to focus the look around these Zara lace up heels. Well, they didn't start off as lace up heels.

 While everyone is out and about enjoying the nice spring weather, I've been "mossing" indoors recovering from the common cold. Due to my lack of enthusiasm, I haven't yet gotten into that lively spring spirit. I'm still channeling my winter vibes and truth be told, I'm feeling like a fashion rebel.

HERE FOR THE FLARE

I'm here for the flared bottom or bottom pants making a comeback this season. There are so many advantages for wearing a bell bottom pant, especially when you're only 5'4 like me.

Another Day, Another Slay!

   Seems like spring is finally back to redeem itself here in Montreal following a cold, winter like week. The rapid change of weather has been rather annoying. It's been warm and sunny in the same week it snowed. Thankfully the forecast ahead seem to be consistently warmer compared to the past week. With warmer weather comes the work-out craze, and I too have joined in on the frantic. Hell yeah! I wanna look great this summer.

SEXY IN A CROP TOP

   A while ago on my hunt for prints, I came across the Instagram page of AK Couture. Scrolling through numerous pictures, I liked and commented on a triangle tribal print crop top which stood out to me because of its unique golden zipper detailing, on the back. The golden zippered added an extra touch of class to the already sophisticated crop top. In a whim to purchase this top, I hustled over to the AK Couture's website but only sadly realized the top was sold out. A few days later, my cousin in NY messaged me that she was sending me a surprise package, and a few days following that, I opened up a FEDEX package to see this baby!

Ready to Play in Black, White and Grey

The minuted I saw this jacket at Forever 21, I knew I had to get it! Draped, long, and flowing, it was pretty much calling my name. I've been loving this trending look of long, light jackets that just seems to dance in the wind when you move. I've been wearing this jacket almost every day since I purchased it. I've layered it under cropped jackets, dressed it up with heels and a dress and dressed it down with loafers and jeans.
