Another Day, Another Slay!

   Seems like spring is finally back to redeem itself here in Montreal following a cold, winter like week. The rapid change of weather has been rather annoying. It's been warm and sunny in the same week it snowed. Thankfully the forecast ahead seem to be consistently warmer compared to the past week. With warmer weather comes the work-out craze, and I too have joined in on the frantic. Hell yeah! I wanna look great this summer.

SEXY IN A CROP TOP

   A while ago on my hunt for prints, I came across the Instagram page of AK Couture. Scrolling through numerous pictures, I liked and commented on a triangle tribal print crop top which stood out to me because of its unique golden zipper detailing, on the back. The golden zippered added an extra touch of class to the already sophisticated crop top. In a whim to purchase this top, I hustled over to the AK Couture's website but only sadly realized the top was sold out. A few days later, my cousin in NY messaged me that she was sending me a surprise package, and a few days following that, I opened up a FEDEX package to see this baby!

Sundays In the Plateau

     Like many Montrealers, I've been on the hunt for a new apartment. I've been testing out a few new perspective neighborhoods- the plateau being one of them. I spent most of my Sunday perusing the more residential areas of the plateau. It's a young and hip area filled with a wide selection of restos, bars, and shops. The plateau is known for having a hip and unique flare. While I like the idea of being in the heart of all the action, I don't know if I can stand the thought of always being in the heart of the action. But we'l see- I'm keeping an open mind.

Ready to Play in Black, White and Grey

The minuted I saw this jacket at Forever 21, I knew I had to get it! Draped, long, and flowing, it was pretty much calling my name. I've been loving this trending look of long, light jackets that just seems to dance in the wind when you move. I've been wearing this jacket almost every day since I purchased it. I've layered it under cropped jackets, dressed it up with heels and a dress and dressed it down with loafers and jeans.

  With the sudden arrival of spring  and summer fast approaching, you're probably beginning to get that urge to switch up your current hairdo to something lighter, brighter and fun!   If we're going to talk about spring outerwear, then we should talk about the Bomber Jacket. Seen in almost every Spring/Summer 15 collection, from Fendi to Stella McCartney, the bomber jacket is making your average leather jacket and blazer look so past tense. A cool bomber can transform any outfit to awesome urban chicness. Dress it down with runners and jeans, or dress it up sexy with a dress and heels- the possibilities are endless. 

Blue Denim Jumpsuit

I recently posted this look on my SnapChat/Facebook and I received tons of messages asking where I got my denim jumpsuit from. Well...here are the deets. Although I've never worn it until now, I bought this jumpsuit over the Christmas holiday at H&M. As soon as I saw it i knew I had to have it, and I'm glad I did! I knew it was going to be one of those trending pieces this Spring/Summer, especially after seeing the denim jumpsuit look rocked continuously, this past season, by countless celebrities.
