Work Flow- Mandarin Collar #trend

After a face mask, a cup of detox tea and about a gazillion glasses of water yesterday, I finally felt refreshed and ready for the work-week ahead. How you feel on a Monday morning (in this case, Tuesday morning) truly depends on how you choose to spend your weekend. The trick is to have a balance of fun and relaxation. Usually, I spend my Friday and Saturday nights catching up with friends and Sundays are dedicated to getting some alone time, family dinners (occasionally) and prepping for the week. By the time Monday rolls around I'm all game!
Lately, I've been obsessing over tops with mandarin collars, as opposed to the standard collar, for work. The mandarin collar just adds a casual yet classy appeal to an outfit. Especially if you want to look work appropriate but not too conservative in attire, this is an option. This top is also perfect for going from the office to happy hour. Even if you work in a conservative workplace, you can easily style this with a blazer for a more appropriate look.

Not to mention, this collar choice has been a major trend this year for brands like G-Star Raw to ASOS.

Snakebite pants were a big hit a few years back when I got these pants. I anticipate this trend would make its way back around shortly. The snake print pant and heels definitely edges up this look, while keeping it conservative enough for daytime.

Hope this look inspires you work ootd. See outfit deets below!
