By now, you should know how much I love a strappy heel. I think it gives a sexy appeal to any outfit. Several posts ago I demonstrated how simple it was to up-cycle old heels in your shoe closet into strapped-up heels (see here). I went shopping at Winners and came across these cute pair of suede strapped-up heels. I fell in love with the mossy green color and immediately knew they would be perfect for pairing with a lots of different outfits in my closet.

OUTFIT INSPO: Nautical with a POP
With the summer months approaching, I’m beginning to crave all things
summer; the summer’s breeze, evening strolls, sand beneath my feet, and of course, summer fashion trends -one being nautical fashion. I've never really been into the classical nautical look, however, it’s one of those reoccurring styles that pop up this time of the year that you just can’t help but to try.
Winter Out West
Winter always seem to bring out the darkest, most "witchiest" modes in all of us. My go to items as of lately consists of anything black. I didn't really realize it until I was playing "Guess my Favorite" with one of my co-workers and they answered with the utmost conviction "Black!" for my favorite color.
For this Outfit, I wanted to keep the focus of the outfit on the toppers such at the hat, jacket and even the scarf since those are what become our for us during the winter season. I also wanted to incorporate some of the pieces we saw in the Fall 2014 trends. The panama hat was definitely one of fall's biggest trends and I started with that to top things off (no pun intended). I'm so in love with this scarf and have been wearing it with just about every outfit. It especially gives this one a touch of needed texture. The brown puffer jacket and matching toned booties keep the outfit playful. The jacket paired with the hat is definitely an unlikely combination that works.I kept the rest of the outfit pretty basic with a plain long sleeve tee and overalls.
Hope this look inspired you :) Have a great week ahead!xo
Preppy Blue
Lately, I've been loving all things preppy. Maybe that's just me getting in the spirit of back-to-school season. Today, I wore this sea blue top with a cute studded collar. I chose to pair it with ripped white jeans to keep the look fresh. The black gladiator heels from JUSTFAB gives the outfit a very edgy feel, and not to mention the multicolor shades gives it the extra kick it needs. enjoy xo

Top 5 trends for Fall 2014
Many of us are finally starting our back-to-school/ back-to-work shopping. And like myself, you're probably wondering what are the biggest trends this fall. I've compiled a list of the top 5 trends you'll see this fall season. enjoy xo

Trend 1. PRINTS, Prints, AND MORE prints
Whether its leopard, kitsch, floral or tribal - prints are definitely a thing this fall. Be prepared to even see matching tops and bottoms in your favorite prints.

Fringe and Things
The weekend is here! You can find me in flats and jeans, running around town shopping and doing groceries. This look proves that there really shouldn't be a toss-up between comfort, practicality, and looking fab. Chic and easy is how I do it on the weekend. I'll normally reach for jeans or trousers paired with a basic tee or tank. For even more simplicity, I stick to neutral colors.
In addition, I got new bangs that compliments my shirt (tehee). This new hair-do paired with my TopShop jeans, fringed top and Aldo oxfords seems to be fitting, as the season begins its transition into fall . This all black look is so me. Enjoy xo

Gamine
Gamine: "an attractive and usually thin and small woman or girl who often shows a playful desire to cause trouble"
What does a girl wear to a brunch with her girlfriends on a beautiful summer day? A cute lil' dress of course! I recently purchased this number from Boutique Olivier for $20 (someone say steal!) I thought I'd make the perfect day time outfit for a summer's lunch with friends. The color is super complimentary on my skin tone, also. I'm in love with the little cut out on he the front of the dress which gives this simple outfit an effortless crop top and skirt feel. I paired it with these cute toe-outs with a one inch heel. They dress the outfit up a bit, giving it an uptown chic look. The green earrings give the look an extra pop of color. Chic? or nah..

Black Lace
I know I've been such a bad blogger. I've literally been gone for the longest time but I have a valid excuse. I recently moved into a new condo and had to do a few renos to take care of. And if,like most people in Quebec on July 1st, you have been moving, then you know the kind of hassle it has been. My roommates and I finally finished all our renos and we're currently in the process of slowly decorating and adding our touches to the place.
I'm in love with my new condo. It's centrally located and that bathroom with a huge soaking tub is every girl's dream. So, I recently hosted a dinner for my friend Shawna and wanted to put together a simple yet edgy look. I paired a lace top I thrifted with one of my favorite Topshop jeans and some cute leather gladiator shoes. This look was definitely dinner with my girlfriend approved!

Metal, Leather & Little Black Dress
Hey all, hope your weekends were well spent. So, I've been finding myself wearing those little black numbers lately (you know, the "little black dress") I'm back on the dating scene and although I'm not looking for anything serious, I've still been looking to have a little fun ( there's no hurt in that right?) As of lately, I've been waddling through my wardrobe to come up trying to come up with date- night outfits. The little black dress is the easiest number to go for. Its super fuss free! An easy pair with some matching accessories and you can have and elegant and sexy attire for the evening. I decided to pair this number with black leather pumps to coordinate with the leather on the sleeve of the dress. My style is very minimalistic and I wanted to keep this look that way. enjoy xo
